You can always slice and dice it however you like - looks market related to me - TLG is up 13.7% , NVX up 10% , EGR up 15.38%,
Having said that the initial statement was written in jest (or call it a cheap shot aimed at investment banks) where we see this scenario play out frequently, particularly when there is a disconnect between the research papers released and the trading action of IBs.
You could argue that the different departments were acting independently but at the same time you could argue that they were selling the news.
You can always slice and dice it however you like - looks market...
