As we are about to enter the 6th month of waiting on this appeal to the supreme court, it seems to me that the court system is simply not fit for purpose. It's a yes/no decision, and the stats suggest the outcome is "no" for >98% of the cases. So why does the court take many months to make a decision ? They are now exceeding their own review time (supposed to be no longer than 4 months ?). Why can't the court turn cases around in 1-2 months ? That would be ample time to read the documents and come to a decision.
