Outside of a Christmas delay, the lawyer was granted more time which could be distorting things. The 28th of September was the cut off date for appeals. The Court then granted reprieve to the lawyer in order for her to "develop the basics" until October 26th. Basically another whole month of the court doing nothing but waiting. On November 4th, the lawyer confirmed that she submitted what was required.

The question is, when exactly do you start the clock for the court? Emails between posters here and the court show that clerks say they start the time from the initial appeals cut off date (28th Sept). How true is that for all cases? Did the clerk take into account that the lawyer was granted reprieve? I can only assume that this isn't the norm for most cases.

28th September: 153 days ago (5 months on the dot)
26th October: 125 days ago (Just over 4 months)
4th November: 116 days (Closing in on 4 months)

Fortunately whichever way you look at it, all dates have either exceeded or are closing in on the Supreme Court's 4 months target, which means a decision has to be imminent.
