Thanks Gvan, I was hoping to provoke a response from you and I will take everything you say onboard.
I guess my thinking is heavily influenced by Syrah’s experience with its potential customers where at the end of the day ESG, company cooperation and collaboration, strategic autonomy, helping the industry survive and what's good for the country meant nothing and were all trumped by putting a few extra dollars on the bottom line this year.
That was one of the points expressed by the Chinese commentator in the 4 Corners report - the West has no capacity for strategic thinking and is happy to take the lazy view that its failings are all China’s fault.
