I am totally in agreement with you. This process of appeal where anyone can just go to the next stage, permit approved, appeal to appeal court, appeal thrown out, appeal to the SC, at no cost to the appellant and so it goes on. It is no wonder there is a massive back log of appeals, anyone can and at no cost to them but a major cost to the appellee. They have had a massive increase in the number of appeals in the last 3 years but no increase in the number of judges to handle the traffic. Many of the shorters have managed to square positions and so any panic buying by them on an announcement is greatly reduced, although still some 6.5million shares to be bought back.
Baja 100 Yes that is what was said, that it is unlikely that the appeal would win, something like less than 2% of appeals are upheld, and the Supreme Court is there to make sure the law was applied correctly, it is not there to judge on the content of the permit, that was the job of the court of appeal.
I am still there, I am in the Spp and looking forward to my loyalty shares.
