Might I suggest some areas of research

1. Beware of Indonesia

2. The really big guys are not on ASX (Vale, Glencore, Norilsk Nickel ... I've held VALE for a long time but its a diversified miner ... Iron Ore, Copper, Nickel and more. Spending upwards of $1.7B in Canada on nickel (Volsey Bay). There are a few other good sized producers

3. Guessing you might be looking for small ASX opportunities ... which aren't producers now but will be soon to take advantage of the coming demand. Am aware of/looked at:

(a) Western Areas (WSA) ... producer with good growth pipeline and secured offtake agmts (and just got bank credit line). Ticks a lot of boxes

(b) Poseidon (POS .. who thought that was a good stock symbol!!) ... targeting production 2023 (backup gold project ... always good especially in the current world order of things). Recent analyst report out (FWIW), commissioned by POS

(c) St George (SGQ) ... lots of exploring ... seems far off from developing though.

(d) not on ASX but worth a look is Talon Metals (on TSX ... TLO) which has a JV with Rio on a property in Minnesota ... keeping the supply chain in the USA ... I like their presentation as it has some good background thoughts. Worth a peek
