But then the Court system gets involved and a sympathetic judge grants a tennis player a visa.

Goverment minister has the authority to cancel the new visa and does so.

The entire clustfvck of a situation goes back to the same Court with the same judge who overrides Government cancelation of visa by issuing an interlocutory injunction because the case will take longer to resolve.

Meanwhile said tennis player plays in tennis tournament then flies home.

Full case has still not not been heard before Judge and is discontinued.

The moral of the story is Government policy is not necessarily followed through if you have a judicial officer sympathetic to the opposing side
