The takeover/takeback is already done and dusted (give or take), eagle. And the occupation was a failure from day one. Anyone with experience of that country knew that. As for the girls/women, sadly they're back to the hard road and I don't hold much hope for their future education. A damn pity too, given the Afghan women I know are crazy smart and seem to excel when educated in their profession of choice. One might think they have evolved in smarts to navigate their way around the cultural impediments.
