I guess if the western forces employed their full power with the same moral values their enemy (the insurgents, fighters etc etc read terrorist filth) does and would like to, the only question left would be 'who were the Taliban?'

But as long as we have fifth columnists in the west and people like one in particular on this thread who openly support these vermin, (Not GM btw) then we shouldn't be surprised that the west fights with both hands and one leg restrained
