Let's take a closer look at Bullswool Farm Park, the business run from the same address as the registered address for Protect Karangahake: http://www.bullswoolfarm.co.nz/bullswoolfarm_about.html

Bullswool Farm has been home to Jan and Keith Austen for over 20 years. They originally ran sheep, horses and cattle on the 100 acre hill property. But Jan’s passion for breeding rare and unusual animals has meant that, over time, more exotic animals filled the paddocks.

    ...

They have been joined on the farm by their daughter Sue, and granddaughter Tallis. Sue grew up on Bullswool, but has lived overseas for several years. She is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, and ran a busy practise in London, specialising in hypnosis for childbirth.

I didn't realise that hypnosis for childbirth was even a clinical discipline. That's really interesting.

I wonder if that is the same "Sue" that is discussing NTL with the Protect Karangahake group and suggesting that a TMP is hopefully more difficult than a resource consent and that building a mine is an affordable flurry of activity to appease investors. Interesting to see that Sue suggests that no mining will occur on the Protect Karangahake page.

It's interesting to look more closely at what people say in opposition to NTL. Doesn't seem like there's much substance to it.
