Talisman, New Guinea Energy May Have Signed Accord, Review Says

July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Talisman Energy Inc. may have agreed to a $90 million joint venture with exploration company New Guinea Energy Ltd., the Australian Financial Review said, citing industry sources it didn’t name.
New Guinea Energy said yesterday it had struck a heads of agreement with an unnamed oil company to fund a seismic program and as much as $90 million in exploration wells over two of its licenses along the Papua New Guinea border with Irian Jaya, the newspaper reported.
