having recently visited the area and speaking to a local who is working on the site, it's a massive project.
not enough accommodation so they are building there own 'housing suburb' with a view of 7 years of non-stop production. interesting learning about the history of the site and the various booms and busts where different in-ground resources have been utilised, depending on demand at the time.
learning it was 49% usa and 51% chinese owned was the biggest surprise of the visit.
