I think that a share investment forum is not the place to propagate personal political views. There are differing political opinions and if we all start pushing our strongly held opinions on to others, it would quickly become a shit show. An investment forum should not be about who can yell the loudest. And yes I agree that politics is interconnected with just about everything. My original decision to buy into ASM was based upon the strangle hold that the Chinese Communist Party had upon the rare earth market. This was an investment decision specifically based upon geopolitics. I also have strongly held political views, however I would rather not indulge myself in this regard on an investment forum. You and I have crossed swords previously regarding political posts on ASM. However from my perspective, it was because of what appeared to be the one sided political commentary that was going on at the time. As mentioned, there are political forums, that is where political contests should occur.
