Long term holders from ALK got some shares for $0 from demerger. I didn't get all I wanted and bought more at $1.10 - $2.00. Bought more at $4 ish including the cap raise for KMP. Bought a few more on the way down all because of the potential of the metal technology. Couldn't give a toss about the mine, in fact demerge that again IMO. Get some value back into the company and push the metal plants @ 200%. When SP was high, I wished I had bought more at lower levels. Now I am. I have nearly doubled my holding at below $2. Will it drop further? Maybe. Will I buy more? Maybe. I have plenty now and there are other very good companies with world leading technology, particularly in health that I like atm. Hard to know which will run up first. Will I be happy in 3 - 5 years about an investment in ASM at these levels? Yes.
Am I concerned about the share price drop? No. Do I wish I had sold @ $14 and bought back at $2 - not really. This has always been a long hold for me.
