I love the comment from OBM management that the lithium occurrences at Mt Ida have been historical categorised as ‘predominantly’ lepidolite.
That was a description probably given by a geologist logging core or in some field notes.
In today’s world, where is the JORC compliant evidence for this new important gem of information?
It seems to me a reckless statement in 2021 without giving us any evidence of past metallurgical study and/or assaying (or even a quick XRF analysis).
As pointed out on other forums, all the other well know lithium deposits have suites of mineralisation that will include more/less of some lepidolite.

One minute OBM suggests Mt Ida lithium value questionable, as mineralisation most likely uneconomic because it’s predominantly lepidolite … and then the next minute they say, but HOLD ON … as we may have lots more of this nice white stuff that we have never bothered to properly analyse before.

My broker is betting pretty heavily now that a new high grade lithium province may emerge from that geological trend south of Mt Ida … and OBM may just get caught up in it purely by ars.. and certainly not by any class!
