I find it interesting that many people on this forum picked up on the non-indexing of the proposed cap. I read all the articles about this issue this morning in the left paper, the right paper and the AFR and none of them seem to have twigged yet that this is the most insidious and potentially devasting part of it.
Perhaps by about Saturday, our finest financial and economics journo's will pick up on it from the reader comments and start writing articles explaining to 25 y.o. voters that are on board with this, that 35 years of CPI increases will mean that their $3m nest egg in 2058 will be enough to cover a second hand corolla and a sausage roll.
