You are part of the problem, saying you are all for not paying taxes within legal limits...which is code for exploiting loopholes. Time and again after contemplating a lifetime of making the rich unconscionably richer, I see a shred of integrity creep in but it's very limited. We have a culture of tax evasion and failure to comply with the substance of the law, but complying with the letter of the law. People think it's being clever. Now we have a shockingly divided society and there's this limited amount of handwringing going on.

I think you are confusing tax evasion with tax avoidance. It is not our fault if politicians don’t draft proper legislation.. As the late Kerry Packer said in a senate enquiry ,….only a fool pays more tax than he has to, and believe me I can spend it more wisely than the govt.
