Hi MyronC,
Yes have been a bit absent and will be again shortly, I think. Lots of stuff happening, but the main reason is that I have recently left the service and commenced my new role as a house dad! This leaves me with less time than I had when I was working! I am also doing a Masters part-time, which leaves me with little time for other things and often confined to the house. I think my protracted explanation of my take on middle-eastern events is really a symptom of cabin fever and lack of adult conversation!
Anyway.....
Seems you and I think along the same lines regarding the tech. I too see a future, but looking beyond those immediate contracts we are gunning for at the moment (Maul, MPM-NLWS) I see a real niche for this tech in the air. Specifically, I mean incorporated into UAVs. In my view, the lack of moving parts and multiple redundant 'barrels' make for a highly reliable airborne weapon, but also one that can be rapidly adapted mid-mission as events unfold by altering ammunition mixes. I know airborne MST tech has been mentioned before so I certainly don't claim this idea, I just think its spot-on.
I could go on and on, but I wont...
Dave
