Hi dave787 - which rock have you been hiding under? Unless I missed it - you haven't said bo-squeak for a while.

It has been kinda fun to see you military middle-east experts up on the pulpit. Far be it for myself to say anything about those regional matters.

However the related engineering/equipment query about a potential MST role (or shareprice movement) in current tensions was mistaken, IMHO. You said it nicely yourself: "I don't believe the MST tech is that highly correlated with events in the middle east at this point in time". Exactly. If we stop and think - MST tech is a future game changer, that has numerous potential applications. However actual product ready to go 'now' is basically an underslung 12 gauge shotgun (Maul) and the MPM-NLWS which (I believe) is a specific non-lethal piece of gear that will apparently still have further fine-tune engineering required, albeit after hopefully securing a ground-breaking (for MST) military contract shortly. That leaves the 3GL, which I recall has just completed design of the next generation piece. All of this is fantastic for MST's future, which I am absolutely confident will be secured bigtime in 2012. But IMHO none of this is ready (or even relevant) to deploy into Iran any time soon.

Many long-termers will recall some of us thought Iraq and Bush's 'war on terror' was going to boost MST - then the early days of Afghanistan were going to do the trick. Bottom line is 'when the tech is ready' but NOT before, it will be in massive demand.
