oh well after starting this thread i took into account all of the replies and made it a contributing factor in my decision whether i ride this storm out or not.
I'll admit i broke all of my own rules when investing this time around on stb and therefor any losses are taken on the chin!
i did end up selling this morning at $4.08 (35% loss) sticking with my selling rule which is to try and get off the sinking ship asap if i can see it going down. And that it did as ive just seen.
i have no doubt stb will surpass its high at some stage but i just didnt want to wait around.
