now to the point, it is not racist to describe some ones ethnicity as a descriptor when warning the public or hunting offenders by the long arm of the law, if a criminal is black asian or white. we the public need to know, a change of clothes and vehicle by an offender strips the descriptor from the "wanted nature" of the offender... if gangs in melbourne or else where are identified by their ethnic group so be it, it needs to be done, and their communities can either give them up or be part of the problem, lm not talking about collective punishment for an ethnic group, but lm referring to the "community" that they belong to police itself.
"tared with the same brush", motorcycles & colours = tared, so why not ethnic groups/gangs within a community be tared the same way, it is not racist it is common sense and established via the "bikie precedent"

Monis /lindt cafe siege was admitted to a "curtain patched motorcycle club" because of his ethnicity, he was kicked out because of his radical beliefs & lack of respect for the "bikie code", I wish some ethnic communities practiced the same types of codes of conduct...
