You're right about that: as a business associate used to say 'sure beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.'
I was just pointing out that the phenomenal rise in the US$ gold price hasn't given Australian gold producers a 'license to print money.' Come to think of it, it's central bankers' licenses to print money that have driven gold prices sky high!
