In my humble opinion,
.... is there some hint within the following part of the Fin. Rev. that says,... " QGC and BG were vocal lobbyists against UGC in recent stoush in QLD ..... and Mr. Heugh said Central was in discussion with third parties about ... farmin to Central acreage ..... and eager to attract a partner that would be equally interested in the Coal Seam Gas and conventional potential of company's licences,.... the matter has been presented to a number of different fairly large companies ... we are in discussion ... providing data to a number of companies."

Could JH be ensuring that CTP remains under his control and not wanting interference from JV partners, no matter who they are ?
Time will tell and this only my gut feeling from statement.
