"House prices rising again."

Just as Australia's top central banker was warning that house prices can go down as well as up, they continued going up.

RP Data's estimate of price movements in the five mainland state capitals rose by one per cent in the week to Sunday, March 9.

The rises ranged from just 0.1 per cent in Perth to 1.7 per cent in Melbourne, and confirmed that a recent lull was just the kind of pause often seen at this time of year.
