I've read a few articles on it, I think it bodes well for more exploration in the Perth basin. Probably a nail in the coffin for the Whicher Range though on R8.

Conventional discoveries in the basin that do not require fracking with low impurities will become more and more important and Perth basin is very promising on that front. If Condor truly is a larger analogue of Walyering it will be a very important asset for TPD going forward.

MINs exploration to the southern end of the North Perth basin with Dandaragan Deep 1 (DD-1) will open a can of worms if they are successful and find low impurity gas. Strikes exploration campaign down the fairway will be very telling as well about future supplies. If they start finding very pure gas deposits it might finally justify a transcontinental pipeline to supply the other states...

If that gas can be exported to the east at a premium to the local market via a pipeline (or LNG)... Look out. Just my take on the situation.
