Hi Gridder. Thanks for your informative reply. Appreciated.
Finland still buying LNG from Russia. NATO , sunctions etc ...no problem.
Concerning inventing, investors invest in companies and not in financial articles . Invest in companies in order to : a. Protect their money/capital b . To obtain gains , on the investment, superior than the annual inflation rate .
Does TPD or any unprofitable company offers one of the two above criteria ? - Don't loose your time . NO IT DOESN'T. Totally the opposite. 1. Capital is at risk . 2. Annual yield is a dream . 3. Stock price appreciation , for a company which burns cash , requires very low interest rates . Or else investors put their money to government bonds and very well established companies who give annual yield dividend above 3-4% .
So, don't be surprised when you , me , we shareholders see the company progressing acvorfing to it's plan and stock price drops .
1. As long as interest rate hikes are on yhe table ALL RISK ASSETS will remain at low levels.
2. As long as indicators show a slowing of economic growth or signalling recession ALL RISK ASSETS will remain at present prices if not lower .
Ask a portfolio manager to explain these issues. You have excellent portfolio managers in Australia.
Nero Resources Fund Pty holds 4,3% of TPD . Maccusker Holdings Pty 2,78% . Precisio Funds Management Pty 2,38% . Ask them how they invest their funds.
I bought TPD when they announced the Mongolia project. TPD and CEL - Challenger Exploration - are my two only hopes to recover heavy losses from two other Australian explores i hold.
What I'm saying is : TPD stock price will go +50% when Central Banks will announce a pause. If inflation will not go under 3% in USA don't expect significant changes for small caps . Will hovering around today's levels.
Hope you understood.
