I fully comprehend the need to prove Mongolia up or not and I understand there is little point of Petrochina being involved until we know what we are dealing with.

My understanding is the site is a long way from major gas lines that feed into China, or at least it is likely to cost significant money to build the pipe work necessary to connect. Is that the case ?

Obviously this needs to be taken into account when assessing commercial viability. Furthermore TPD and TMG do not have the financial resources needed to build this infrastructure.

Are others able to elaborate ?
