I know it sounds far fetched and i would agree with you if i had not seen first hand the ability of the Chinese when it comes to completing large infrastructure projects. Spent some time there in the years leading up to the 2008 Olympics. They are second to none. Not as flashy a finish as the wesst but they get it done faster.
