besecure, not a silly question at all. The ASX schedule announcement says 8 March is the "implementation date". However, it also says the new SEA shares commence trading on 14 March. Not sure if TPD shares are available on the implementation date (8 March) or when new SEA shares are available on 14 March.

What baffles me -- others also asked but no answer -- is how TPD is trading if no one has shares to sell yet? I think one answer was that brokers can do this based on expected share holdings even though online accounts don't have this capacity.
