it will not be Bill Beamont, sorry for our sp, luck for the other one, in which I hold a small amount too. Here some excerpts from an article in afr some days ago:
"Australia’s second-biggest gold miner will lose its talisman, with Northern Star Resources confirming that chairman Bill Beament will exit the board of the newly enlarged company.
Mr Beament was expected to switch from being executive chairman of Northern Star to non-executive chairman from July 1 under the terms of the company’s merger with Saracen Mineral Holdings.
But Northern Star said on Wednesday that Mr Beament’s imminent rise to become the biggest shareholder and executive director of base metals explorer Venturex Resources had triggered a change of plan.
Northern Star was previously the biggest shareholder in Venturex with just over 18 per cent, but Venturex said on Wednesday
Mr Beament would soon own 26.2 per cent of the company after subscribing for $8.9 million worth of shares.Mr Beament’s backing of Venturex sparked a 147 per cent rally in the explorer’s share price on Wednesday, giving it a market capitalisation above $100 million."
I held a small position in VXR since 2017, was unhappy with their sp consolidation in 2018,
but i didn't lose hope and topped up and rounded my position in Dez 2020. Now I am lucky
I did so.
Not that I'm complaining about our sp, we are in a steady uptrend since EoY 2018 from 3c to over 9c til beginning of 2021. But I bought in at 6c, so there was no hell drive to current price of 8c.
But nevertheless, I have the option to change the horses from something else into VXR or stay here further.
