watso was brought up in a religious household - which included prayers before and after meals, church (and sunday school) on sundays, bible reading after meals etc etc... in the end, watso became a devout atheist.

even if watso was brought up in a religious household, there was no message about jihad etc etc . watso's mother insisted that we went to church, until the end of year 10 - but after that, it was up to her children - but we had to go to school to the end of year 12. completing year 12, was a big thing - 45 years ago.

it is sad that religion ends up brainwashing people.

as an aside, but watso was forbidden to play football, when he was a kid, because the local team played on sunday - and sunday, was the time for church/sunday school...ok watso played for the school - and obviously wanted to play on the weekend.
