Agreed. It's a pity that the patent expires in a few years, but hopefully LANI dominates the market. LANI should start sales in Japan next year and may even get a stockpiling order later this year. They need the current trial to be a success. They should also be seeking to licence the rest of world patents for LANI and perhaps even keep the stockpiling in house. I'd expect RoW sales to commence in 2011/2012 as they still need to start some phase III trials (and maybe Phase II??).

Alot hinges on the ability of LANI to perform in this trial. I'm guessing that the recent announcement by Biota's partner should be taken as a very bullish sign.
