Okay
Get ready for bumper LANI sales in Japan, if Tamiflu sales are anything to go on.
Tamiflu has sold very well for Jan-Mar 2012
Here's the Chugai (Japan licensee) breakdown including a comparison from the previous 6 months:
Tamiflu "Ordinary Sales"
Jul-Dec 2011
1.3bn Yen
Jan-Mar 2012
7.5bn Yen
(Apr 2012 = 1.8bn Yen)
Tamiflu "Govt Stockpile Sales"
Jul-Dec 2011
2.8bn Yen
Jan-Mar 2012
0.4bn Yen
(Apr 2012 = 0bn Yen)
6 months to Dec 2011 total = 4.1bn Yen
3 months to Mar 2012 total = 7.9bn Yen
The quote from the Chugai report was "Tamiflu: sales almost doubled reflecting a large flu season"
So we have Daiichi Sankyo Inavir results due in a week and everything points to something very exciting and possibly a milestone bonus!
By the way, has anyone manage to corner DL on the lack of GSK Relenza sales data breakdown in their recent quarterly? I would have been very interested to see the Japan data. The lack of published data stinks to high heaven.
