    Up until the end of October a total of 12,509 flu samples had been tested world-wide for resistance to tamiflu.

    Roughly 1 in 1,500 of the estmated cases of swine flu.

    Most tested are those in hospital who fail tamiflu treatment. It can be expected that large numbers have mild flu and are not tested.
