The issue here is a legal one in setting precedents . . .
Future claimants will argue that it was done for so and so why not us? that's what the government do not want.
The ridiculous amount of money that's wasted on these appeals and paranoia like Christmas Island that's borne by you and me the taxpayer.
And we should say welcome?
