Nothing crazy about it. It's one of the things that brings people together more than anything else.
Tell you something I love, even if this is the wrong place to mention it.
I love Andre Rieu. First I love Strauss and the Viennese music
But second I love to see a small touring orchestra, if they still exist, where they all seem to have a ball and enjoy playing their music and giving huge pleasure to the huge audiences they have drawn all round the world. I have some of their performances on dvd and from time to time I jump back in and let it all wash over me and bring tears to my eyes.
That's what music is all about.
