I only know that they stated their intention is to recycle the water. But the French fellow uses words and phrases suggesting it is a future effort in the youtube video. Molycorp needs to recycle the water because water is scarce in the desert. They take the water out and end up with the waste paste which is interred in sealed lead-lined bunkers far below the surface of the desert. :)
I don't think it would be that difficult, unless the final process heats the water and they need cool water for the intake.
