Gerry Harvey was on 60 minutes last night and said that sales were up 9%. He reckoned freezers were flying out the door. He also Harvey Norman had no problems with the 4 sq metre rule, his stores aren't packed like supermarkets but had good sales.
I reckon he would be right, a lot of people will stop spending on restaurants and overseas holidays who will now buy the new 65 in TV and latest gadgets.
Been years since I've been in HVN, but its looking attractive now.
