convenient maybe, but I know i still enjoy booking my holiday through my flight centre agent. You know who you are dealing with, they always find the flights that you can't always get online, (and even put you on waiting lists if need be), work out good hotel accommodations for you etc. Whereas online, it's still hard to put together a bigger package/itenary. plus you have to really read the terms and conditions to find out just how refundable is your ticket.
So, yeah, they had a bad year, but i still think fundamentally the business is good. They are doing online bookings as well.
