I'm glad that the AD plans include a port.

The thefts show how vulnerable the supply chain is for those who have to rely on shipping / transfer facitities far away.

Is it as simple as relabelling / moving shipping containers?

Tantalite container arrives and has its label put on a low value shipment (like cement).

Thief then puts his own shipping label on the tantalite container, sending it wherever he wants it to go.

Recipient of the cement wonders where his container went.

Recipient of the tantalite complains to his supplier that he got sent cement instead.

Much confusion ensues, hassle of figuring out what went wrong and the only chance of getting paid for the tantalite is if insurance pays out.

Seems like it would be hard to follow any kind of evidence back to the thief.
