Hello all, especially Baggy who I know has been a GIP shareholder even longer than myself. We have enjoyed good times (a decade ago) and endured much financial pain in more recent years. But we live in hope, and now that Egypt's settling down into a semblance of order - forget democracy for a while - there's a better chance at finance coming through than we've seen for ages.
Past GIP management made some horrible and costly mistakes that could have meant the end for all of us. Instead, Mr G has fronted up with the cash when it was needed and kept the company alive until it may finally be in a position to become a tantalum producer before we breathe our last. If the SP gets back to six cents I'll join the group for lunch in Egypt and even shout the first round.
