Seeking some clarification about what the benefits are to the Tanzania Government who have a 16% free carried interest.
It is my understanding they do not have to contribute to the development and running costs etc but do they get a 16% share of the profits or are they the proud owners of 16% of shares which they can sell whenever they wish to.
If there are any other benefits could someone please point these out
