Lately, Premier Oil has announced it is farming into an exploration project in Block 2B Kenya operated by Taipan Resources (paying US$1 million up front and agreeing to pay up to US$13.275mln of Taipan’s share of future drilling costs. Block 2B hosts the Pearl prospect which has been estimated at 100mln barrels of oil).
