One very interesting thing I neglected to mention was that Tanzi said that he felt that we would need amyloid imaging to prove there's amyloid in the brain and phosphorylated tau levels in CSF combined with limited or no AB42 in CSF to prove that patients have AD and are in bad shape. Interestingly he is saying amyloid imaging combined with CSF is integral to AD proof. This tells me that he believes that the SUVR results from the IMAGINE trial were useful and only confounded by the placebo fluke.
