as the old saying goes "if you can't beat them join them" which is exactly what afterpay has done. credit to them for announcing today to take the limelight off zip. this will hurt us zip holders unfortunately for a while. the only thing that might step it up is a joint venture with cba. I've said it for a while that zip as a business is structured probably the best out of bnpl companies. but marketing wise they just don't quite have it yet. almost but not yet.
