Hmm, for sezzle to operate in India they would have to mirror afterpay's gradual build up of credit system. They couldn't possibly do a Zip and offer a grand in credit to 750 million people.
Would be curious to see which course sezzle charts in India as that system could flow to Bangladesh and even up into the former Soviet Republics.

India was 'the jewel in the crown' of the British Empire even though Australia, South Africa and Canada were where the gold and diamonds were actually coming from.
It was a tag that could be debated when looking back at the era but, if you conceptualize the biggest developing nation on earth where people are beginning to aspire, climb and are moving ever closer to a Westernized economy with consumption driving growth, well, which ever bnpl conquers that nation will be riding one heck of a bull elephant.

Imagine, 200 million Indian clients preferring one bnpl and paying maybe $5 a month per head- it's well worth the effort of a company to try for and maybe that effort is even worth me acquiring some sezzle, just to hedge my bnpl bets so to speak.
Sezzle may well not have the capital to enter such a market or, they may do an Asian model startup and just gradually build up capital from nothing?
I don't know but I admire them for aiming at an elephant and not a kiwi.
