Reminds me of a true story from England a few year's back.

During a severe snow storm in a small English town the locals were snowed in for days. A group of heavy drinking tourists were snowed in at the local pub, with nothing to do but drink and party. The publican let them help themselves to the bar!

After 4 days they'd almost drunk the pub dry, when they heard rescuers digging the snow away from the front door.

They raced to the front door and started piling snow back into the hole that was being made, yelling out, "Please one more day!, Go rescue someone else!, Come back in 2 days time!, We're not ready to be rescued!, This is a private party, so nick off! Who's the idiot who phoned 999!" etc. True story!
