It is in the interest of some to keep the price down until Holdfast is drilling in the shale zone and reports tell of live gas bursting from the drill stem. Then they cant keep it down any longer. Another big step up will happen. The players will keep on fracking with the stock because they can. They will play it when it reaches the next level as well. They are like a ball and chain round our ankle.
However in conjunction with the lab core sample reports coming in from Encounter 1 the future of the shale play looks to be bright. Shale reservoirs are very different from conventional reservoirs. The saturation, once proved at these 2 locations - 21 kilometers apart is likely to extend for many - many kilometers.
