Week Ending 11th September 2003 Near Field Exploration / Appraisal Wells Tardrum 2 Type CBM Appraisal Well Location Queensland, Surat Basin ATP 685P, 2.0km N of Tardrum 1, and some 30km N of the Scotia CGM Gas Field. Status at 0600hrs 11/09/03
Tardrum 2 has been cased and suspended pending completion as a CBM gas producer.
The well reached a total depth of 1400m with no progress for the week.
The rig was released on 08/09/03, and is currently moving to Scotia for a five well
CBM drilling program. Planned Total Depth 1400m Interest Santos Group 100.00% Operator Samson – International (Australia) Pty Ltd*
*Whereas Santos is the Operator of the Exploration license, Samson will be the effective Operator for drilling. Samson and Sunshine Gas are earning a 50% interest in the block by completing a farmin program which includes funding 100% of the drilling costs.
