IMO u couldn't have a reasonable guess at it as all the items like the costs,expenses of the business,the write downs,depn.etc that u have to deduct from the revenue couldn't reasonably be predicted without inside info.(U might be able to take a stab at it if u did alot of research). Therefore u can't reasonably work out earnings from which to calculate a P/E. An analyst might be able to but I suspect they get some assistance from the company for some of their info.
